Mr. Thomas J. Kappen

who has established his educational acumen in Thodupuzha, is the Principal of GLOBAL INDIAN PUBLIC SCHOOL from April 2011. Mr. Kappen was the Principal of Co-Operative Public School, Thodupuzha; Jubilee Hills Public School, Hyderabad; Gregorian Public School, Kochi; Tagore Mount School, Munnar, and has thus a wide range of experience in the field of Education and youth management.  He also proved his administrative skills in Choice School, Cochin as its director.

He says…. “Children must enjoy coming to school.  They must feel loved and cared.  They must feel & experience enlightenment.  The Divine spark in them must glow fully.  Over loading with matter buries creativity, which is so natural in children.  Excellence in academic grades must come through clear understanding and thinking.  Rote learning has no place.  It is not filling in; but drawing out“. Thus a true process of holistic growth.

The School must produce little scientists, artists and entrepreneurs with deep values and high principles.

Modern thinking and philosophically deep,Indian and universal values must be the foundation and life line of every child.  Curiosity and creativity must keep the child alive and awake to face the modern world, and win.  The school will judge its influence and success not only by the intellectual and material success of their youngsters; but also by their emotional and spiritual success in life. Being successful TOTALLY – NOW and LATER, is what the school is aspiring for its children. GIPS will consistently be aware and  be awake to this reality and responsibility.
